This website collects information from all website visitors using statistics tools. The collected information is on website traffic and it includes, but is not limited to, what page visitors access or visit, the date and time of the visit, referring website, browser name and version, and IP address. No personal data is collected this way. This information is used for evaluating and improving the content of the website. It is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes. I do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.
Information Collected via the Contact Form:
My contact form requires you to enter your personal information, which includes but is not limited to, your full name, telephone number and email address and your brief message. This data is used exclusively by Elif Kasaci, RP, C.Hyp. to provide you with information and materials as requested. I do not sell or pass on your personal information to any third party companies.
Confidentiality
As mentioned in FAQ page under the confidentiality section, as well as in your informed consent form, all personal data collected during your therapy session(s) is kept confidential according to the requirements of current Canadian legislation. As a client, you can expect a level of ethical conduct that will ensure the protection of your personal information. I adhere to all the rules and regulations of the CCPA and the CRPO.
Personal information is not disclosed to any other third parties except:
if it is specifically requested by yourself, your doctor or by your insurance company, for which, you will have to sign a “Release of Information” form,
when required by law:
if you are in danger of seriously and immediately hurting yourself (I am legally and ethically required to take appropriate actions to ensure your safety, such as notifying your family/emergency contact and legal authorities)
if there is a danger that you will immediately hurt someone else (I am legally and ethically required to inform the person(s) and/or the appropriate authorities to keep that person safe, such as the police)
if there is any indication that a child (under 16 years of age) is in need of protection due to physical harm, neglect, or sexual abuse by a person having charge of the child (Under the Child and Family Services Act, I am required to inform the appropriate Children’s Aid Society)
if you reveal that you have been abused and/or harassed by a health care practitioner (I am legally obligated to report this activity to that practitioner’s regulating body)
if you are subpoenaed by the court and there is a court order or summons presented for the therapist’s attendance in court and/or release of your records.

Any personal information provided to this website, in accordance with the above conditions, is supplied by you voluntarily and Elif Kasaci, RP, C.Hyp, has your express consent to use the information only as indicated above in accordance with the Personal Information Protection & Electronic Documents Act.
